I wanted to make a (very very short) extra post this week with a few lines in the spirit of America’s 243rd Birthday on July 4th, 2019.
Though I realize a lot of people take it for granted, but the greatest country on earth (in this bloggers opinion) is the USA. Waking up in America every day is such a blessing, the freedom we’re afforded to get up and not have to worry about things we take for granted is unreal. Our founding fathers had a vision for this great country, and though it likely took a few turns they weren’t expecting, we’ve gotten pretty far on their foundation.
I realize that everyone is trying to turn this place into their ideal version of home, and it’s okay to voice an opinion or two (it’s actually more than just okay, it’s a right!). I would like for everyone to take a step back, and really just be thankful for the world we live in. Be thankful for the men and women who enlist in our armed forces to protect the freedoms we take for granted every day.
I love this great country that we share with so many different people.
